Hi! My Name is Chloé Gillespie, I’m a Retoucher & Photographer located in the Metro Detroit Area. I graduated from College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and have my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.

I am a creative retoucher & photographer with a client-centric approach. I offer experience of 12+ years, with a focus on commercial, portraiture, & conceptual work. I’m passionate, detail oriented, organized, and have a keen eye for composition and lighting, as well as being driven, focused, punctual, and attentive on the job. I am proficient in digital and 35mm film photography techniques.

My concentration of emotional perspectives in photography are what help to define me as an artist.  Many of the works that I am currently creating have a complex and meaningful idea behind them, often related to the intricate emotions that one feels.  I enjoy presenting images that are more thought provoking than merely visually pleasing; causing the viewer to question and potentially find a way to relate themselves to it.  My photos may not always be “pretty”, or evoke a happy emotion, but I find the darker themes and feelings behind them to be far more interesting to explore.  My pieces often explore my own deeper and darker emotions.
